Beauty
is very subjective, but I believe our beauty resonates from how we perceive
ourselves, how we treat each other and in how we treat ourselves. Taking care
of our skin, which is our largest living organ, is like taking time to brush
your teeth, exercise our muscles and expand your mind. You can choose not too
or you can choose to do.
It is important to be aware of the choices that we
make and the options we have to work with.
Do we treat our body as the temple that it is, and protect it from the
pollutants and toxins that we expose it to everyday? Do we feed it the
nutrients that it needs? Mind Body and Soul, we are a culmination of what we
feed ourselves.
I agree, true beauty lies within. For me, making
informed healthy choices shows respect and gratitude for this human gift of
life that I have been given, and caring for the overall health of my skin, to
encourage it to work at it's optimum regenerative ability, to protect it from
environmental aggressors, and to minimize the effects of stress is a choice that
I make for me.
Bringing
awareness to others on how to maximize their skins
health, and minimize the damage is one way I empower people to look and
feel
good about themselves. There is more to us than just our external
beauty, but
it is important to honor and care for ourselves everyday. To set the
intention of being healthy in all aspects of our lives, to the best of
our ability allows us to live longer healthier and more productive
lives.
